Pleasant

Hi!  I am Pleasant - That is what they called me when I came into Rescue and I try REALLY hard to live up to my name.  I ended up in Rescue through no fault of my own.  I had a really happy life before...  I even wagged my tail so much that part of it is missing but that doesn't stop me from showing you lots of love!

I was really sad when my owner passed away and I didn't have anywhere to go.  My foster Mom says I am sooo smart - I taught myself how to use the doggy door and I am really good at going outdoors for my personal relief.  I also am very good at potty pads, if I need to.  I love to go outside, smell everything, and enjoy the sunshine so I really like a home with a fenced yard but if you don't have a fence it is not a deal breaker.  I have excellent leash manners and love a good walk, especially with friends.

I am hard of hearing so please go slow with me.  For that reason I might do better in a quieter home.  I was a little shy at first in my new digs but I am playing with my foster brothers nicely.  I do not know how I would do with felines, but I am pretty chill and not much bothers me.  I am a very healthy, active senior in search of a similar human to hang with and share love.
